What we collect

When you use The Yappery, we collect:

• Your email address when you create an account.
• The pet photos you upload, and the videos generated from them.
• Limited device information (a hashed device fingerprint) so we can enforce the one-free-yap-per-device limit.
• Standard analytics (page views, button clicks) via Google Analytics and PostHog so we can understand which features people use.
• Payment metadata via Stripe when you subscribe — Stripe handles your card details directly; we never see them.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your pet photos to train any AI model.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for authentication (so you stay signed in) and the standard analytics cookies set by Google Analytics and PostHog. No third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. You can also email us at [email protected]and we’ll handle it within 30 days.
